Jasmine Ma’sl is helping revitalize Mi’kmaw through a home-based Language Nest, where children learn through play, songs, meals, and daily life entirely in Mi’kmaw — helping raise a new generation of first-language speakers.

Chiefs, Councils, & members of the Mi’kmaw Grand Council, along with leaders from the Mi'kmaw organizations across the province gathered in Dartmouth for a Treaty Education Symposium, creating space to deepen understanding of the history and ongoing importance of treaties.

Mi’kmaw education is redefining summer camps by turning them into opportunities for career exploration, skill-building, and inclusion. From veterinary and trades camps, to marine training with real certifications, to camps designed for diverse learners.
